Senior Media Manager

Position Overview:
As the Senior Media Manager at iDerive, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing advertising and media campaigns to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue for our clients on Amazon. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing effective media strategies, managing advertising budgets, and monitoring campaign performance. This role requires a deep understanding of Amazon’s advertising ecosystem, strong analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive Amazon media strategies that align with clients’ business objectives, taking into consideration product categories, target audience, and competitive landscape.
- Manage end-to-end execution of Amazon advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and Amazon DSP (Demand-Side Platform) campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research, ad copywriting, and creative development to optimize ad placements and increase click-through rates (CTR) and conversions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all advertising touchpoints.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and generate actionable insights to optimize and enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Allocate advertising budgets effectively to maximize return on investment (ROI) and achieve client goals.
- Develop weekly advertising reports to present on calls to clients.
- Stay updated on Amazon’s advertising policies, algorithms, and industry trends to proactively adjust strategies and tactics.
- Provide regular performance reports to clients, highlighting key metrics and suggesting areas for improvement.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential areas of growth for clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5 years) in managing Amazon advertising campaigns, preferably for e-commerce brands or agencies.
- Strong understanding of Amazon’s advertising platforms and tools, including Amazon Advertising Console and Amazon DSP.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with e-commerce industry trends and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
- Strong analytical skills, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel—pivot tables and ‘VLOOKUP’
- Detail-oriented, good project management and organizational skills with the ability to work on tight deadlines
- Possess strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Relevant certifications, such as Amazon Advertising Accreditation, Google Ads certification, or others, are a plus.
